When my Pelikan M800 Renaissance came I puzzled over what to put in it. Do I go with something traditional like Smokey Quartz or shake it up? Coincidentally I received a bottle of ink with an octopus on it and decided…shake it up! No matching today 🙂

On TR paper this color is a really beautiful deep magenta. It has sheen but it is very subtle even on the blob. I encountered a bit of it on regular writing but not enough to justify buying it for sheen alone. It isn’t a super wet ink but that probably contributes to its excellent shading quality. No regrets here!
I leave you now with a photo of dessert from yesterday’s HIPPO Pen Meet #2 ^_^

First of all, that dessert looks amazing but I can’t figure out what it is. It looks like sweet bricks. Secondly, I like the look of that ink very much. The magenta hue and the sheen appeal. I tend to use F nibs though so I don’t think I’d see much of the sheen based on your review.

It’s called Honey Toast 💕 it’s delicious! You might see a tiny bit of sheen but it’ll most likely be rare. The color is just fantastic! I’m using it with an F nib now.

Very pretty ink! Not usually a color I’m drawn to, but I like that. Your reviews are wonderful, as always!
