While purples and pinks are my favorites, teals have been coming up on my favorites list a lot more. At the request of a friend on the Pen Addict Slack channel, Colorverse Gravity Wave is the subject of review.

For this review I thought that the Pelikan Ocean Swirl would be the perfect combo, what do you think?

This ink has a wide range of color, the sheen appears to have its own sheen. At first the sheen is a blackish, but then blossoms into red at the saturated points. This ink, like Redshift, feels a bit on the thicker side than regular ink, but so far I’ve experienced no clogging or hard stops with the Pelikan M805 F Nib. Even without the dramatic bits of red sheen, this ink has a beautiful shading that contrasts to the blackish part of the sheen. The red does come up sparingly in regular writing, and as I used the ink I found myself coming back to admire the pages and look for it.
