Purple + from Japan.  Just these two ink traits alone were enough to have me excited to receive Pen Gallery Nodaiko Violet.  The Pen Gallery inks come from Pen Gallery Hougado in Japan and come in a variety of colors.

For this review I decided to ink up my Pelikan M805 Stresemann.

Time-Lapse

This color is just beautiful!  It sheens during regular writing and also has a deep reddish purple color.  In the blob it looks more like a true purple.  The range of color is fantastic.  It reminded me a bit of Bungubox Sweet Potato Purple so I compared the swabs:

Nodaiko Violet seems to be a bit more on the red side compared to Sweet Potato Purple.  For writing purposes though, I could hardly tell the difference.

I leave you now with a darkened photo of my latest pen acquisition!  The LE Pelikan Royal Gold M800.  That raden tho!
