Robert Oster has been rolling out quite a few new colors lately, Australian Shiraz is one of them. Shiraz is such an interesting word that I had to look up its meaning. There are a few but the one that I found most like this ink was the wine definition. You’ll see why shortly ^_^. For this review I decided to ink up my Pelikan M805 Stresemann, one of my favorite writers!

This ink is a beautiful wine color with a black sheen. The description of shiraz I found online was black wine, spot on right! The sheen does not come out much in regular writing, but the shading is quite lovely. Another hit from Robert Oster! ^_^
I leave you now with a photo of a very special pen joining my collection soon!

I thought it was a dusky pink until I saw the ink blob. A beautiful purple black!

It looks like a darker version of the hippo ink? It’s stunning!
