Packages from Japan always make me smile ^_^.  So when these Voice inks arrived I was overjoyed!

They are Sailor inks for a Japanese stationery store.  Of course I had to start with the pinky looking one!

For this review I decided to ink up my Pilot Falcon SM.  It needed ink and I had a feeling that this one would sheen.

This ink is just glorious!  That green/gold sheen is amazing.  It comes out in generous amounts even during normal writing.  It also has a nice shading and a great flow.  This might even call for a second (and third) bottle!  This ink reminded me a lot of Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo.

Both are wine colored sheen monsters, but this one hints more toward a pink/red, and the Iroshizuku seems to go more toward a purple.  Definitely worth having both in a collection though!  If you love well-behaved ink with sheen….run!  don’t walk to get this one.

I leave you now with this awesome shot of the turquoise Hippo Noto open and ready for ink!  If you haven’t already, visit our Kickstarter Join the #hipposquad!  We are nearly to the Stretch Goal for an ivory tomoe paper option!  Thank you to this amazing community for helping us get to this point ^_^
