Congratulations on getting your Hippo project off the ground! I signed up and wish you much success. I also just recently got back into fountain pens and I love your ink posts. Are you going to the Chicago Pen Show? If so, do you have any tips for a fountain pen newbie thinking about attending?

One thing people have told me about pen shows is that people are very open, and even people who are generally shy come out of their shell when they are in the room with other pen geeks. Sounds like a pretty amazing environment to me!

So because of my Hobonichi I’ve become a huge huge fan of tomoe river paper. This is just what I was looking for. A notebook with a lot of pages of TR paper. Now the painful waiting period begins haha.
