After the amazing experience I had with Monteverde Charoite I was really excited to try Moonstone.

I bought a 30ML bottle instead of a 90ML because I was unsure about the color.  The bottle is super cute though 🙂  Tiny and informative, I love that the color is very apparent when looking at it.

From the bottle it looked to be a brown color, which confused me a little because I associate Moonstone with a more silver type color, but then I thought well maybe it’ll sheen moonlight ^_^.

For this review I decided to ink up my Pelikan M205 White with M Nib.  It’s a reliable and wet writer, and it was empty.

Ink Blob:

This ink uses the same ITF technology that the Charoite did and exhibited those wonderful characteristics, however I wasn’t blown away this time.  The ink goes on a greenish brown and dries to a lighter brown with very average shading and no sheen during normal writing.  In the blob there is an opaque film type effect over the ink.  Totally underwhelmed, glad that I only have 30ML of this one 😦  I can sort of see the moon like quality in the white glow, but still not for me.  I’m glad that I got to try it though, and I am praying for a better experience with Garnet which is the next from this collection I am planning to try ^_^.
